Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in your browser. The categories below describe how Texterz uses cookies and similar storage mechanisms on texterz.ai and on the Texterz application.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cookies that build cross-site behavioral profiles.
3.Storage we set on texterz.ai
The marketing site (texterz.ai) uses the following storage entries. Names, purposes and lifetimes are listed for transparency under GDPR Art. 13.

Aggregate analytics storage is only created after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
4.Storage we set in the Texterz application
The Texterz application (app.texterz.ai) may use your browser's local storage for interface preferences and short-lived state (for example, a draft you are working on before sending). This data lives in your browser and is not transmitted to us for tracking purposes.
5.Analytics (Rybbit, self-hosted)
When you accept analytics, the marketing site loads a small tracking script from api.ikarusholds.com/rybbit/api/script.js and sends events to the same first-party endpoint. The backend is Rybbit, an open-source privacy-friendly analytics tool that we operate ourselves on our own Kubernetes cluster in Europe. No third-party analytics processor receives your data.
What we collect (only after you accept the Analytics category):
- Page views & single-page navigation — which pages were visited and in what order.
- Web Vitals — anonymous browser performance metrics (Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift) so we know if pages feel fast on real devices.
- Button clicks — which call-to-action buttons were clicked. We record the button's visible text label, never any text you typed.
- Form interactions — that a form was started or submitted, and which field was changed. We never record the data you type into form fields. Hidden and password fields are skipped entirely.
- Outbound link clicks — when you click a link that takes you to another site, so we can see which external resources are useful to visitors.
- Copy events — short snippets of text (up to 500 characters) you copy from the page, so we understand which content resonates. We do not associate these with you.
- JavaScript errors — error messages and stack traces from our own scripts so we can fix bugs. Cross-origin errors and browser-extension errors are filtered out.
What we do NOT collect:
- No session replay — we do not record your mouse movements, scrolling, keystrokes, or play back your session as a video. Ever.
- No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting.
- IP addresses are used transiently for geolocation lookup (country/region only) and are not stored alongside events.
- Data lives in our self-managed ClickHouse database in Europe. We do not export it to advertising networks or share it with third parties.
6.Third-Party Services
A small number of third-party services we rely on may set their own cookies when you interact with their flows. Examples:
- Payment processor: may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and to remember your payment context. See your payment processor's privacy notice for details.
- Embedded video or media: any embedded video player on a marketing page may set cookies; we disable tracking variants where the provider supports it.
Hosting, monitoring, and infrastructure providers that we use to run the Service do not set cookies in your browser; they may use internal identifiers for load balancing and security within their own systems.
7.Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (ePrivacy Art. 5(3)) - one click opens the same preferences modal you saw on first visit, and your new choice takes effect immediately.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can usually configure your browser to notify you before a cookie is stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Texterz application from working correctly, including the ability to sign in.
8.Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. Material changes are communicated as described in our Privacy Policy.
